01 — FEDERAL PARTNERSHIP
MATECH has worked with the U.S. Government since the company’s founding in 1992, participating in programs for the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, NASA, the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and U.S. Air Force, and their research organizations.
Our role is practical: define the problem, develop the process or hardware, and deliver a solution that works within the realities of the mission.
02 — CAPABILITIES
MATECH brings multidisciplinary engineering to problems that cross the boundaries between design, process, materials, equipment, and the operating environment.
Custom equipment and subsystems developed around demanding program requirements, environments, and interfaces.
Applied chemistry, materials, optics, and semiconductor-process expertise translated into repeatable production methods.
Purpose-built tools and manufacturing approaches for delicate, high-value, and unconventional components.
Direct technical engagement with government laboratories, research institutions, prime contractors, and integrators.
03 — SELECTED ACHIEVEMENT
MATECH developed tools and processes used to fabricate hundreds of delicate X-ray optical elements for Chandra’s lenses, and multiple other NASA space missions.
The work reflects the way MATECH approaches federal programs: combine deep process knowledge with custom equipment and carry the solution through to repeatable fabrication.
04 — PROGRAM ECOSYSTEM
Experience working across government agencies, national laboratories, universities, prime contractors, and technology integrators.
